Introduction to Quantum Mechanics (Manchester Physics Series)
Introduction to Quantum Mechanics is an introduction to the power and elegance of quantum mechanics. Assuming little in the way of prior knowledge, quantum concepts are carefully and precisely presented, and explored through numerous applications and problems. Some of the more challenging aspects that are essential for a modern appreciation of the subject have been included, but are introduced and developed in the simplest way possible.Undergraduates taking a first course on quantum mechanics will find this text an invaluable introduction to the field and help prepare them for more advanced courses.Introduction to Quantum Mechanics:* Starts from basics, reviewing relevant concepts of classical physics where needed.* Motivates by considering weird behaviour of quantum particles.* Presents mathematical arguments in their simplest form.

How much is the cost of head gasket replacement at top end job for Toyota Previa?
Anyone knows the cost of repair of head gasket for a Toyota Previa R Reg 1997 model that has been blown up. Any mechanics or garage that you would recommend to do this job around Manchester.
I don't have any UK data but in this part of America it runs about $1100-$1700 (L680-L1048) and is mostly labor. [Sorry - don't know how to make the fancy "Pound" character.]

The object is to display the inherent structure of quantum mechanics, concentrating on general principles and on methods of wide applicability without taking them to their full generality.

Now,I'm a sophomore in China.I want to study there next semester, and perfer to choose a major with better professors and faclities.
Thank you for your help!
You should go for the one, for which, "you" have the "best aptitude."
Omgee help! Im so desperate to the point where its not funny?!?!?
Ok this is my first DBQ so it sucks..can u help me? Give me advice on what I can improve..thanks!
In the19th century, many issues were raised during the growth of Manchester. These issues could not be easily resolved by the government nor its constituents. The issues that were raised by the growth of Manchester were the government, health, and industrialization.
Manchester’s government enraged its citizens by taxation without representation (corn laws) and poor working conditions. The people of Manchester consisted of mechanics and factory workers among whom aggravation with the government prevailed( Kemble, doc 4). Additionally, most citizens believed that the working conditions were very poor. These workers spent from twelve to fourteen hours each day enclosed in small rooms where with every breath of air was absorbed with copper, cotton, wool, or flax. These conditions had a major impact on health and wellbeing along with a degradation of moral/social norms. (Tristan, doc 7).
The health conditions of factory workers in Manchester were terrible. People that were better fed, better clothed, and better sheltered lived longer, but not in the case of Manchester( Macaulay, doc 3). The population lived off of an insufficient amounts of food, were sickly, and their bodies lacked the energy they needed to work (Tristan, doc 7). By these conditions, youth death rates in Manchester began to increase because of the health conditions in the rural and industrial districts (Wakley, doc8). The poor health problems resulted in children missing school and getting a poor education which resulted in illiterate adults. However, some experienced worse, by catching a disease either caused by the impure atmosphere or by animal feces. Others say the annual loss of life from disease and filth is greater than the deaths or wounds caused by wars(Chadwick, doc6).
Manchester became industrialized between 1750-1850. Throughout the British Isles, canals and railroads flourished because of industrialization (Thompson,doc1). As industrialization flourished, Manchester began to loose all of its innocence and beauty (Tocqueville, doc 5). When the bells tolled, it no longer called them to worship, but rather to work. It was rare to find a man leisurely walking through the streets of Manchester or going to pursue his enjoyment through the surrounding country. (Tocquevile, doc 5). Industrialization also improved the social status for those who were already rich, but degraded the status for those that were poor. Wages weren’t fair in 1868 until new machinery was created such as the cotton mill( Abram, doc 10).
Manchester’s government, health, and industrialization were the largest issues raised during the 19th century. By the 1850’s reform was enforced by the house of labor in Factories Act(Abram, doc 10). By the condition of the workers improving, the technological advances, and the reduced sickness, happiness was brought to the people of Manchester. By all of Manchester’s work exertions and energetic spirit, England became distinguished beyond any other industry of the world (Wheelan and Co, doc9).
My changes/editing are in BOLD. Also adding some punctuation changes. It seems like a pretty good first attempt!! In the19th century, many issues were raised during the growth of Manchester.
